This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Proactively oversee awarded contracts for designated suppliers to meet P&L objectives.

• Formulate business plans to enhance contract usage and supplier engagement.

• Initiate new awarded contracts and facilitate the onboarding of both new and existing suppliers.

• Keep supplier and contract documentation updated while managing contract amendments.

• Ensure adherence to contract terms and the requirements of the Cooperative Purchasing Program.

• Build and sustain relationships with supplier organizations.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to boost contract awareness and foster category growth.

• Conduct and provide supplier training through both in-person and virtual formats.

• Relay Sourcewell contract information to supplier sales management, dealers, and sales representatives.

• Assist suppliers in formulating marketing strategies and materials.

• Present at trade shows, conferences, supplier events, and Sourcewell functions.

• Gather supplier insights on industry, market, and agency customer trends.

• Act as a representative for suppliers to internal Sourcewell teams, supporting procurement, government relations, and strategic processes.

• Aid the Category Development team with insights regarding categories and suppliers.

• Cultivate relationships with industry consultants, associations, and publications.

• Represent the Cooperative Purchasing team in internal meetings and assist with annual planning.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a sales and/or marketing position.

• Ability to meet travel obligations, approximately ten times a year, including occasional trips to Staples, MN.

• Preferred: Five years of experience in advanced sales and marketing management.

• Preferred: Background in public procurement and/or government contracting.
