Senior Statistician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Ensure adherence to departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to necessary modifications.

• Follow departmental protocols for conducting statistical analyses and programming tasks.

• Lead intricate projects in the capacity of project lead or lead statistician.

• Provide senior-level reviews and oversee team members across various projects.

• Engage with sponsors and present findings to sponsors and regulatory bodies when required.

• Review calculations for sample sizes, protocols, clinical designs, statistical analyses, and randomization documents.

• Draft sections of protocols, analysis plans, and document statistical methods and procedures.

• Guide the team in the execution of analysis plans.

• Review specifications for analysis databases and supervise their development, maintenance, updates, and documentation.

• Collaborate with programming and data management teams.

• Oversee the creation of specifications for tables and listings.

• Prepare reports, manuscripts, and other relevant documentation.

• Contribute statistical methods sections for integrated clinical and statistical reports, as well as integrated summaries of safety and efficacy.

• Monitor project budgets in relation to the scope of work and communicate any potential changes to management and sponsors.

• Mentor members of the department, offering project guidance, statistical advice, employee development, performance planning, and resource allocation.

• Provide insights on hiring recommendations, departmental policies, and resourcing needs.

• Represent the department in interactions with other divisions.

• Assist with bidding and business development efforts, including proposals and timelines.
