Senior Statistical Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Serve as the Lead Statistical Programmer

• Plan, execute, and supervise all programming activities within a study, including resource estimation, budget oversight, timelines, quality assurance, and collaboration with departments and clients

• Create and maintain SAS programs for generating SDTM and ADaM datasets as well as TFLs

• Conduct quality control on SDTM, ADaMs, and TFLs

• Generate Define XML/PDFs, Analysis Results Metadata (ARM), annotated CRFs, and Review Guides

• Draft specifications for SDTM and ADaM datasets

• Review SAPs and TFL shells from a programming standpoint

• Guide and mentor junior programmers on SDTMs, ADaMs, and TFLs

• Present and share insights during departmental meetings

• Address QA and client audits while assisting with qualification audits

• Identify programming methodologies that enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required or assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in mathematics, statistics, computing, life sciences, health sciences, or related fields

• Experience and/or education in conjunction with relevant work experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree

• Relevant and comparable experience may be acknowledged in place of educational qualifications

• Typically, 3-5 years of SAS® programming experience in the CRO or pharmaceutical sector, or an equivalent blend of education and experience

• Familiarity with CDISC standards

• Proficiency in English for speaking, writing, and reading

• Willingness and capacity to travel locally, domestically, and regionally

• Capability to work in an office or home-based setting as requested by the line manager
