Senior STARS Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as the functional link between the Intake team and operations teams.

• Assist with business initiatives related to Medicare and Star Ratings.

• Evaluate project scope and address business needs throughout the delivery process.

• Oversee production and/or system change requests for enterprise initiatives.

• Conduct research and analyze business impacts in relation to project scope.

• Facilitate the effective delivery of medium-complexity initiatives that involve multiple business functions.

• Ensure clear communication of changes, enhancements, and operational updates to affected business units.

• Contribute to successful implementation and positive business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry or health insurance.

• Prior experience with Medicare.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient presentation skills and professional demeanor.

• Experience in successfully engaging with senior management and staff across various departments.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Business acumen along with project/program management expertise.

• Sponsorship is not available.

• Must be able to work remotely within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.
