Senior Staff Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create security tools to improve Spotnana’s capability to safeguard corporate and platform systems.

• Develop in-house applications throughout the product lifecycle while implementing secure-by-design principles.

• Establish integrations among various security products.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by employing shift-left security methodologies.

• Build and manage security orchestration, encompassing no-code, low-code, and functional solutions.

• Design and assess security solutions for an API-driven, multi-region SaaS platform.

• Generate prototypes and proofs of concept to showcase the feasibility of solutions.

• Investigate industry trends and advancements in technology.

• Collaborate with leaders and engineers to shape and define execution strategies.

• Guide and mentor junior engineers.

• Engage in cross-functional virtual interviews, which include in-person discussions and coding assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in security engineering.

• Proven ability to influence without direct authority, innovate solutions to complex issues, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

• Proficiency in building and deploying software using contemporary engineering practices.

• Expertise in at least one programming language.

• Knowledge of applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning within a security framework, including understanding their capabilities and limitations.

• Awareness of data anonymization and privacy challenges.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Must not require current or future employment sponsorship.

• Proficiency in Java, Golang, and Python is highly desirable.

• Experience in leading other engineers is advantageous.

• Background in delivering large-scale SaaS applications is a plus.

• Experience achieving results in an enterprise environment, ideally with minimal direct authority and across various teams or organizations.
