Senior Information Security Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Formulate and uphold information security policies, procedures, and strategies that align with business goals.

• Oversee risks, audits, incidents, and ensure compliance with regulations such as Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

• Lead projects and manage teams effectively.

• Administer vendor relationships, contracts, and departmental financial resources.

• Represent the department in corporate committees.

• Execute security awareness initiatives.

• Guarantee proper access management and the efficiency of information security processes.

• Conduct initial analysis of security events, executing necessary tests and evaluations.

• Perform advanced analysis of security events and incidents utilizing information security tools and solutions.

• Track vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain the integrity of company data and assets, ensuring appropriate access and safeguarding company property.

• Ensure adherence to the LGPD and other relevant regulations for internal teams and external partners.

• Facilitate the seamless operation of internal customer support services.

• Offer assistance to internal clients via support channels, addressing tickets based on factual analysis and evidence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical understanding of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), including data protection impact assessments and legal/technical data protection activities, alongside providing internal guidance.

• Technical and regulatory expertise, with a background in asset management.

• Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP networks, Windows/Linux systems, and antivirus solutions.

• Basic familiarity with SIEM and incident response processes.

• Proven experience in incident response.

• Experience in managing security solutions.

• Awareness of CVEs, patches, and vulnerability scanning practices.
