This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +16 more states.
• Take ownership of the e-commerce advertising product from inception to launch, progressing from beta to general availability.
• Establish product strategy, set quarterly objectives, define success metrics, and communicate milestone progress to executive leadership and finance teams.
• Manage unit economics and assess whether data indicates scaling, pivoting, or halting initiatives.
• Define project scope and make informed decisions regarding scope reductions.
• Collaborate with go-to-market, sales, and account teams to identify ideal customer profiles, formulate go-to-market strategies, select customers, and facilitate onboarding.
• Represent Liftoff in discussions with customers and in forming strategic industry partnerships.
• Work alongside engineering leads to manage the experiment roadmap, analyze A/B testing results, and make informed Go/No-Go decisions.
• Analyze full-funnel performance from ad impressions to site sessions, add-to-cart actions, and purchases.
• Establish and uphold standards for traffic quality and creative user experience, including suppression logic and inventory quality controls.
• Collaborate with Legal on handling consent, adhering to regional privacy regulations, protecting customer data, and ensuring compliance.
• Identify strategic partnership and integration opportunities for measurement and attribution.
• Advocate for attribution methodology and the incrementality narrative with performance marketers and agencies.
• Lead the integration work for the e-commerce platform, including pixels, server-side event delivery, order attribution, catalog ingestion, and merchant-facing installation processes.
• Over 8 years of product management experience, particularly in performance advertising: DSP, retargeting platforms, measurement/MMP, or ad network e-commerce products.
• In-depth hands-on experience with web and mobile identity and attribution, including probabilistic matching (IP and device signals), pixels, server-to-server postbacks, ITP, fingerprinting protection, and ATT.
• Proven track record of guiding a product from beta to general availability, including making recommendations to terminate or significantly pivot initiatives based on data analysis.
• Comfortable working in a 0-to-1 incubation environment with small, funded pilots, hands-on customer management, and clear go/no-go criteria.
• Demonstrated experience in ML experimentation, including interpreting confidence intervals, critically evaluating experiment design, and making shipping decisions amid uncertainty.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, ML, go-to-market, sales engineering, creative, and finance without direct authority.
• Preferred: Experience within the Shopify/e-commerce ecosystem, encompassing app approval, Customer Privacy API, webhooks, catalog/product feeds, and merchant-facing tools.
• Preferred: Knowledge of CAPI-style server-side integrations, such as Meta CAPI and Google Enhanced Conversions.
• Preferred: Familiarity with incrementality testing, MTA, MMM, and various attribution methodologies.
• Preferred: Strong financial fluency at the executive level and the ability to build and defend a unit economics case.
