Senior Staff Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the infrastructure that supports enterprise-scale document corpora, real-time AI agents, and the Financial Intelligence Graph for Fortune 500 clients.

• Design and manage foundational cloud infrastructure on Azure.

• Oversee data pipeline orchestration utilizing Ray, Service Bus, and CDC.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD and deployment automation systems.

• Manage observability systems and assist with incident response.

• Implement operational practices to ensure platform reliability during scaling.

• Empower product teams to deploy quickly on a dependable platform infrastructure.

• Shape the architecture and technical direction for a foundational enterprise data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building and managing production cloud infrastructure at scale.

• Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and managing cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure.

• Strong grasp of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and modern deployment methodologies.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and developer tools.

• Familiarity with observability systems including monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing.

• Strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) instincts, encompassing SLOs, capacity planning, incident response, and reducing toil through automation.

• Experience in operating data infrastructure, including data pipelines, streaming systems, and distributed computing.

• Knowledge of distributed compute frameworks (Ray) or streaming technologies (Kafka, Azure Service Bus).

• Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or enterprise data platform environment where uptime and data integrity are crucial.

• Previous work at a high-growth startup where infrastructure foundations were developed from scratch.
