Senior Staff Cloud Security Engineer – Operational Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead diverse security discussions, primarily targeting Canadian Energy and Utility clients and prospects.

• Comprehend security challenges related to Artificial Intelligence solution implementations involving Agentic AI and GenAI.

• Assist ServiceNow’s Sales Teams in both pre-sale and post-sale initiatives.

• Address security inquiries and questionnaires from prospects and customers.

• Conduct security discussions with customers.

• Present and advocate for AI and cloud adoption and assurance.

• Contribute to the overall messaging and positioning of the Security Office.

• Coordinate and manage the comprehensive customer cloud security experience.

• Engage in security industry forums, communities, and standards organizations.

• Participate in discussions and presentations with partners and customers.

• Investigate and comprehend cloud and AI threats.

• Act as an escalation point for security incidents and investigations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve security challenges and carry out postmortems for effective remediation.

• Suggest and develop structural or design modifications to enhance ServiceNow’s cloud security posture.

• Lead cross-functional teams.

• Contribute to contract negotiations pertaining to security terms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in IT.

• At least 5 years in Cloud Security.

• Candidate must qualify for and maintain a reliability status in Canada.

• Strong understanding of security concerns associated with Artificial Intelligence solution implementations involving Agentic AI and GenAI.

• Expertise in IT, OT, IoT, Medical device, and Critical Infrastructure Security.

• Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM and/or Armis is an advantage.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, including strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills.

• Experience in Cloud Operations, whether as a customer or provider, is necessary.

• Expertise in enterprise cyber defense techniques.

• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CSSP, CEH, or equivalent.

• General knowledge of ITIL and ITSM.

• Understanding of the sales life cycle.

• Proficiency in Threat analysis and enterprise cyber defense techniques.

• In-depth understanding of Security Operations.

• Capability to articulate complex issues to executives and customers.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated and driven; ability to perform and excel with minimal supervision.

• Ability to serve as an authoritative source on security matters.

• Excellent collaborator and team player.

• Fluent in English.

• Proficiency in French is a plus.
