Senior Staff Attorney, Regulatory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +24 more states.

📋 Description

• Support the Chief Legal Officer and Assistant General Counsel for Regulatory Affairs at Navitus.

• Prepare legal documents, templates, memoranda, and official correspondence.

• Oversee the management of document templates and corporate legal records.

• Conduct records management and legal research.

• Contribute to the development of new initiatives at Navitus from a legal standpoint.

• Offer guidance on legal matters that influence the organization's strategic direction and impact.

• Provide legal advice to Navitus employees regarding the implications of business objectives.

• Ensure that staff members are aware of relevant policies and procedures.

• Investigate and evaluate statutes, judicial rulings, legal articles, contracts, and codes.

• Organize and file legal documents and correspondence within both digital and physical filing systems.

• Create procedures for indexing, filing legal documents, and managing contracts.

• Engage in and support Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and compliance program goals.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A law degree from an accredited institution is required.

• A license to practice law in Wisconsin is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of legal experience is required.

• Commitment to participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.

• Ability to engage cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues consistently.
