Senior SQL/Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain SSIS code.

• Create new Python scripts for the Klondike teams.

• Design and implement high-quality database solutions.

• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions utilizing T-SQL.

• Comprehend dimensional data models.

• Generate and troubleshoot stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.

• Review and analyze business reporting requirements.

• Research necessary data and produce valuable reporting deliverables.

• Examine existing SQL queries to enhance performance.

• Propose new queries.

• Create procedures and scripts for data migration.

• Deliver scheduled management reports promptly.

• Investigate exceptions concerning asset movement.

• Develop and review SQL Server code objects, identify defects, and recommend performance enhancements.

• Address issues, articulate root causes clearly, and suggest solutions.

• Communicate with application teams, addressing their inquiries and concerns.

• Conduct QA development and provide support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in MS SQL, Azure, and AWS database systems.

• Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and AI tools.

• Strong skills in SQL, T-SQL, and Python.

• Preferred 5+ years of experience in the field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DBA/SQL Server Developer working with SQL Server versions 2017/2019/2022.

• Solid development experience with SQL Server, SSIS, stored procedures, and Python.

• Experience with operating systems and data warehousing.

• In-depth knowledge of T-SQL, SSIS packages, and SQL Server Reporting Services.

• Experience in Python programming.

• Experience with transactional SQL and SSIS packages.

• Familiarity with version control and code deployment across various databases.

• Ability to troubleshoot database issues in real-time while ensuring data access and integrity.

• Excellent communication skills and adaptability regarding work hours and direction.

• Knowledge of AWS (S3, RDS, EC2), Oracle PL/SQL, Informatica development, load automation, ServiceNow, and change management processes is advantageous.

• Experience with AI code generators for PowerShell and SQL is a plus.
