Software Engineer – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain robust, efficient, and dependable backend services.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to architect and implement new services from concept to delivery.

• Create new features and capabilities that provide value to customers.

• Partner with engineering and product teams to align efforts and deliver solutions.

• Generate and maintain technical documentation aimed at users.

• Contribute to shaping the company's engineering culture and uphold high engineering standards.

• Develop large-scale features, enhance internal tools and processes, and aid in product and technical roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of demonstrated experience as a Software Engineer focusing on web backend development.

• Strong proficiency in Golang is a considerable advantage.

• Additional experience in data engineering is highly sought after.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality production services and systems.

• Customer-centric mindset with a strong emphasis on empathy towards users.

• Relevant industry experience, particularly in the banking or fintech sectors.

• Domain knowledge in fraud prevention or compliance is preferred.

• Proficient in English, capable of casual conversations and formal report writing.

• Must reside in one of the following cities: Bangalore/Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Mumbai, or Pune.

• At least three years of professional experience working with Golang.

• Experience in payments is required.

• Background in B2B SaaS is beneficial.
