Senior SQL Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Maintain and improve custom .NET/SQL Server applications utilizing the latest Microsoft .NET technologies.

• Design and develop data stores and queries essential for MS Reporting Server.

• Diagnose performance, capacity, and data security challenges.

• Engage in a collaborative development atmosphere, offering assistance and technical insights to business team members regarding the implications of database modifications.

• Aid the development team by creating stored procedures, views, DDL, and triggers.

• Potentially contribute to developing code-based solutions using C# and .NET.

• Execute additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience with MS SQL Server technologies.

• Proven experience in performance troubleshooting and optimization of SQL queries.

• Proficient in crafting intricate stored procedures, triggers, views, and more.

• Established expertise in SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS is advantageous.

• Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio, C#.NET, and WCF is beneficial.

• Comprehensive understanding of systems and business application development.

• Knowledge of project management principles and techniques.

• Capacity to analyze complex applications and systems with minimal interfaces.

• Strong problem-solving abilities to assess programming impacts on existing systems.

• Excellent decision-making skills for identifying problems and recommending solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for preparing and discussing programming plans and processes.

• Ability to engage with all organizational levels.

• Proficient knowledge of Power BI and SSRS is preferred.
