Senior Specialist, Site Contracts – UK Negotiations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Prepare templates for country-specific contracts.

• Draft and distribute Site Agreements and other site-related contracts to initiate negotiations.

• Conduct negotiations on contract terms and budgets with assigned sites until finalization and execution.

• Review study budgets and expenses associated with contract negotiations.

• Execute quality checks on Site Agreements and related documents prior to signing.

• Provide either draft or signed contracts and budgets to regulatory teams for submission upon request.

• Collaborate with the Worldwide Legal Department, Data Privacy team, study teams, Sponsors, sites, and investigators.

• Facilitate contract signatures by Worldwide when necessary.

• Distribute fully executed Site Agreements and related documents to sites, eTMF, payment teams, Sponsors, and internal SharePoint.

• Negotiate amendments to Site Agreements and budgets with sites.

• Generate termination letters and other relevant documents, sending them to sites for signatures.

• Maintain tracking tools with live, real-time, or regularly updated functional activity logs.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business administration, finance, science, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the Clinical Research, Pharmaceutical, or CRO industry, specifically working with investigator/site contracts or a related legal field.

• Experience in negotiating with UK sites is essential.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Skilled in negotiating contract terms with clinical sites and vendors.

• Capable of identifying and efficiently addressing contract issues and disputes.

• Strong understanding of international and local regulatory requirements for clinical trials, including FDA, EMA, and ICH-GCP.

• Solid analytical skills for reviewing and interpreting contract terms and financial data.

• Ability to identify risks and formulate effective mitigation strategies.
