This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Oversee the creation and upkeep of intricate program timelines, which include resource allocation and Earned Value Analysis.
• Assist programs in formulating plans and consolidating contributions from all programs.
• Collaborate with program team components to establish and sustain the integrated master schedule (IMS).
• Conduct schedule assessments for designated programs and projects.
• Coordinate major project and program timelines across finance, engineering, materials, manufacturing, and quality sectors.
• Monitor plans and schedules; carry out risk assessments; identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts.
• Employ critical path, driving path, variance metrics, milestone charts, Earned Value Management, and various project management methodologies to assess progress and pinpoint performance discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to internal program protocols and project control system standards according to DECM metrics.
• Oversee the complete life cycle of planning and schedule management.
• Act as the liaison for internal and external customer communications and updates.
• Supervise performance relative to program budgets and communicate required modifications to Cost Account Managers.
• Create integrated master schedules utilizing SOW and WBS.
• Conduct time-phased analyses, critical path verification, and schedule risk evaluations.
• Address schedule conflicts and devise and implement workaround strategies and tactical alternatives.
• Examine program schedules to assess resource requirements on both program-wide and enterprise-wide levels.
• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 6 years of relevant scheduling experience.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant scheduling experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of pertinent scheduling experience without a degree.
• Proficient in Earned Value Management (EVM), including Cost or Schedule Integration.
• Experience in maintaining schedules throughout the product life cycle, involving critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis.
• Familiarity with MS Project and Milestones Professional.
• Understanding of engineering processes, principles, and practices.
• Knowledge of risk management concepts and risk analysis related to master schedules.
• Awareness of DoD EVMS Guidelines (ANSI-748C), IPPD, and IPMR.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
