This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for the Cardiac Rhythm Management and Electrophysiology divisions.
• Build and nurture early relationships with Fellowship Directors to enhance Abbott brand recognition and product usage in the United States.
• Create and maintain a database to track institutional programs, fellows, and directors.
• Assist in the development and upkeep of relevant speakers.
• Contribute to fellowship and external curricula with high-quality resources in cardiology, cardiac rhythm management, and electrophysiology education.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales management to deliver continuing education for physicians, fellows, and other clinical and economic stakeholders.
• Advise customers on Abbott products spanning various business segments.
• Identify program champions within the sales organization and engage with program directors and fellows.
• Provide mentorship and training to team members on curriculum design, development, and VR simulation.
• Establish and oversee vendor relationships.
• Maintain effective communication methods for sharing strategic opportunities and program information.
• Integrate fellows’ occupational and career development goals into Abbott initiatives.
• Stay informed about company products, therapies, educational markets, and business objectives to design continuing education programs.
• Monitor activities of competitive fellows programs.
• Adhere to FDA and other regulatory standards, as well as company policies, procedures, and assignments.
• Collaborate with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Undertake other related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in training related to the design, manufacture, sales, or training of medical devices.
• Experience in product training or teaching.
• Ability to apply fundamental concepts and practices for conducting needs assessments and designing fellow training programs.
• Proficient in working within a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Capability to function both as a team member and an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Ability to leverage and engage others to complete projects effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Competence in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills, with emphasis on follow-up and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40%, including international travel and some weekends.
• Commitment to regular and predictable attendance.
• Professional training or education certification is preferred.
• Experience in a broader enterprise or cross-division business unit model is preferred.
