This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for the Cardiac Rhythm Management and Electrophysiology divisions.
• Build and nurture early customer connections with Fellowship Directors across the United States.
• Promote ABBOTT brand recognition and encourage product adoption.
• Create and manage a database to track institutional programs, fellows, and directors.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a roster of relevant speakers.
• Contribute to fellowship curricula by providing high-quality resources in cardiology, cardiac rhythm management, and electrophysiology education.
• Deliver advanced continuing education for physicians, fellows, and other clinical and economic stakeholders.
• Advise customers on ABBOTT products spanning multiple business segments.
• Identify program champions within the sales organization and collaborate with program directors and fellows.
• Guide and train team members in curriculum design, development, and VR simulation.
• Establish and manage relationships with vendors.
• Maintain effective communication methods for sharing strategic opportunities and program information.
• Integrate fellows’ career development and occupational challenges into ABBOTT initiatives.
• Stay informed about company products, therapies, educational markets, and business goals.
• Design and implement continuing education programs.
• Monitor activities of competitive fellowship programs.
• Adhere to FDA regulations, regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of training experience in the design, manufacture, sales, or training of medical devices.
• Relevant product training or teaching experience.
• Ability to conduct needs assessments and design training programs for fellows.
• Capability to operate within a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Proficient in working both collaboratively in a team and independently as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Ability to leverage or engage others to achieve project goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective communication across multiple organizational levels.
• Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and follow-up.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40%, including internationally and on some weekends.
• Commitment to maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
• Professional training or education certification or designation is preferred.
• Experience in a broader enterprise or cross-division business unit model is preferred.
