This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership and manage the applications related to supply chain planning and reporting throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Ensure that applications are designed, operated, maintained, and validated in compliance with both business and regulatory standards.
• Collect and analyze business requirements, define specifications, and design technical solutions.
• Lead the execution of system testing and manage changes in both regulated and non-regulated settings.
• Supervise system maintenance, upgrades, defect tracking, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Serve as the main point of contact between IT, business process owners, and external vendors.
• Maintain documentation for functional requirements, design specifications, validation plans, and change control.
• Create and implement test scripts, user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios, and validation strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and regulatory inspections pertaining to system validation and compliance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy configurable solutions within Rapid Response and other planning/reporting applications.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for system support and enhancement initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in developing worksheets, dashboards, and alerts using Kinaxis Rapid Response.
• A solid technical background in enterprise application support, configuration, and deployment.
• A fundamental understanding of Java, .NET, and SQL.
• Technical expertise in SQL and data integration concepts, including APIs, batch jobs, and ETL processes.
• Strong familiarity with the Kinaxis platform.
• Knowledge of cloud application deployment, configuration, and maintenance within AWS or Azure.
• Experience with system integrations and web services/APIs.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting production issues.
• Background in regulated healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors.
• Understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) and Good Practice (GxP) requirements.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts, including table structures, relationships, and configurations.
• Ability to develop and implement test scripts, validation plans, and system documentation.
• Kinaxis Author Level 1, Administrator Level 1, and Integration Level 1 certifications are advantageous.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or cloud-based environments is a plus.
• Basic project management experience utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills.
