Senior Specialist, Issue Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in identifying risks and resolving issues, errors, and escalations through thorough investigation.

• Provide insights for short-, medium-, and long-term technology-driven processes and solutions.

• Oversee projects and procedures to ensure that key milestones and service levels are achieved.

• Collaborate with leadership to establish and manage arrangements that reduce costs or enhance outcomes.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to develop action plans and continuous improvement objectives.

• Aid in the management, stewardship, and analysis of data to ensure compliant and efficient operations.

• Offer recommendations that promote financial discipline and quality standards.

• Support initiatives focused on process improvement and operational efficiency.

• Adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in payer or provider operations, provider network management, healthcare operations, or a similar field.

• At least 1 year of experience utilizing data and metrics to drive enhancements.

• Over 1 year of experience in process improvement and workflow design.

• More than 1 year of experience in creating and presenting information and recommendations to Senior Leadership.

• Experience in ACA marketplace, provider network, claims, healthcare quality, or provider data.

• Background in management consulting.

• Training or experience in applying Continuous Process Improvement or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

• Experience in project coordination or management within a matrixed organization.

• Familiarity with supporting RFP development and implementing software or service solutions.
