Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Acquire an in-depth understanding of Acquia’s products, solutions, and value propositions.

• Assess customer business requirements and customize solutions utilizing Acquia products.

• Develop solution proposals, presentations, and communications for customers.

• Investigate, define, and estimate Drupal solutions for enterprise-level applications.

• Address competitive challenges and inform potential customers about Acquia’s values and advantages.

• Smooth the transition from sales to delivery by guiding teams on the solution design.

• Lead or engage in customer-facing meetings, maintaining relationships with partners and prospects.

• Collaborate with the product team to relay customer requests and shape the product roadmap.

• Serve as a technical advisor and advocate for potential customers.

• Connect the business development team with engineering and product development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.S. or a comparable technical degree, ideally in Computer Science, IT, or Information Services.

• Over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing position; prior experience in sales or a pre-sales context is strongly preferred.

• Background in a SaaS company or familiarity with Drupal and cloud architectures.

• Strong enthusiasm for web technologies and open-source development.

• A passion for technology and problem-solving, with a commitment to in-depth technical solutions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to both small and medium-sized audiences, including C-level executives.

• Exhibits effective questioning techniques and interpretation skills to comprehend customer use cases and challenges.

• Openness to learning and collaborating with AI tools to improve processes and achieve objectives.

• Proficient multitasking in a fast-paced environment and the ability to function effectively as a team player on complex projects.

• Capability to work across various time zones and lead diverse, virtual teams.

• Willingness to travel internationally.
