Senior Solutions Architect – PubSec

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical implementations and promote the adoption of Chainguard images for Public Sector clients

• Assist customers in securely utilizing open source software throughout their organizations

• Collaborate with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Support to grasp customer visions, challenges, and suggested solutions

• Formulate account-level strategies, ensure value realization, and focus on retention and growth

• Serve as “customer zero” by testing and documenting Chainguard Images

• Provide a seamless onboarding experience for customers

• Communicate customer needs to Product and Engineering teams

• Establish prioritization for image builds

• Manage account-level architecture

• Share best practices and insights gained across the organization

• Collaborate, educate, and learn alongside the Chainguard team

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years in a post-sales role supporting Public Sector clients

• At least 8 years of experience in developing high-performance multi-tier applications

• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, Containers, and contemporary software security practices

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or CMMC

• Proficient in communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences, including engineers and executives

• A continuous learner driven by intellectual excellence and a desire to create solutions for complex challenges

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology

• Strong practical experience with software development methodologies, practices, and engineering design principles

• Capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

• Willingness to travel up to 15% for customer engagements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory
