This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Support the implementation, operational, sales, and product teams throughout the customer engagement journey.
• Gain insights into customers’ business and technical needs.
• Collaborate on sales strategies and deliver presentations showcasing solutions.
• Configure Trial Interactive enterprise software and associated solutions.
• Partner with operations during the entire implementation process.
• Design and document new configurations and solutions effectively.
• Develop and maintain User Requirements Specifications and Configuration Specifications.
• Serve as the product configuration and domain expert during sales processes.
• Showcase products to potential and existing customers.
• Collaborate with sales on software configurations for demos.
• Address functional and technical aspects of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Communicate customer and prospect business requirements to Operations and Product teams.
• Create and script product and solution demonstrations.
• Promote the Trial Interactive vision through demonstrations, webinars, seminars, conferences, and account-specific initiatives.
• Engage in SOW reviews and assess new business opportunities.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Develop and maintain SOPs in accordance with QA and departmental standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
• Extensive knowledge of contemporary technology, tools, and techniques for data and system integration.
• At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in solutions consulting, software product configuration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in life sciences, eTMF, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or content management.
• Self-motivated individual with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and steer customers toward a technical solution.
• Basic understanding of SaaS and cloud-based technologies and business models.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in the MS Office suite, with an emphasis on MS Excel.
• Willingness to undertake global business travel of up to 10%.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both internally and externally, especially with customers and the sales team.
• Familiarity with GxP and the software validation process and regulations.
• Experience with REST APIs, sFTP, JSON, XML, SSO (SAML 2.0), and identity providers like Okta.
• Previous software development experience in backend technologies such as Python, Java, C#, Node.js, or PHP is preferred but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting and regular expressions for automating manual tasks.
• Over 2 years’ experience in B2B web applications, business-to-business, and mobile apps is advantageous.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
