This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and propose enhancements to current infrastructure and service offerings.

• Provide guidance and assistance in network modernization, security, application refactoring, and the transition of data center applications to the cloud.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate IT strategies that support mission objectives.

• Analyze current and future skills and technologies to meet emerging mission requirements.

• Influence the development of future enterprise architecture and roadmaps for the command.

• Review DoW frameworks, including DoDAF, UAF, and TOGAF, ensuring that use cases comply with these standards.

• Create "as is" and "to be" architectural models and scalable, extensible solutions.

• Support enterprise Agile/SAFe initiatives.

• Lead the development and management of enterprise architecture models using MBSE techniques in accordance with UAF standards.

• Define frameworks for digital platform architecture, design methodologies, and best practices.

• Execute the platform within an automated configuration management framework.

• Offer expert information security guidance.

• Manage the architecture of the data framework utilized for gathering and delivering program performance metrics.

• Analyze system operations and decompose systems utilizing OMG frameworks.

• Model systems from various perspectives and levels of abstraction.

• Engage with stakeholders to evaluate requirements, processes, systems, and capabilities.

• Extend UML-based models to other tools and modeling environments through frameworks/APIs.

• Produce data and reports.

• Deliver professional presentations and provide exemplary customer service to clients and colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

• Must currently possess a Secret clearance.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• CISSP, Security+ CE, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, or other DoD 8140 certification is mandatory.

• Capability to obtain ITIL 4 Foundation certification.

• Knowledge of architectural frameworks, complex systems, and enterprise architecture.

• Proficient in analyzing system operations.

• Experienced in system decomposition using OMG frameworks, including UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, and UAF.

• Ability to model systems across capability, operational, system, and functional perspectives at various abstraction levels.

• Familiarity with UML modeling tools; Cameo Enterprise Architect is preferred.

• Skilled in engaging stakeholders across diverse system domains to analyze requirements, processes, systems, and capabilities.

• Proficient in extending UML-based models to other tools or modeling environments via existing frameworks/APIs.

• Familiarity with executable models; fUML specification is preferred.

• Capable of generating data and reports.

• Strong customer service and presentation abilities.

• Experience in modeling complex systems for DoW or other government entities is preferred.

• Experience in publishing models in web-based or document formats is a plus.

• Proven track record in high-paced, time-sensitive, quality-driven environments is desirable.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service orientation are preferred.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail is desired.

• Certifications such as Crestron Certified Programmer, Certified User Experience Designer, or Python certification are advantageous.
