Senior Solutions Architect, APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take charge of achieving technical success for opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

• Collaborate with Account Executives on account strategies, deal assessments, and closing plans.

• Facilitate discovery, solution design, and architectural discussions.

• Align customer business outcomes with Palette, Cluster Profiles, policies, and Day-2 operations.

• Present tailored demonstrations and technical presentations to both technical and executive audiences.

• Organize and execute structured proof of value initiatives with defined success criteria, timelines, and documented results.

• Position solutions that comply with data sovereignty, residency, MAS Technology Risk Management guidelines, PDPA, and sector-specific regulations.

• Provide support for multi-cloud and on-premises Kubernetes, KubeVirt VM modernization, edge deployments, and GPU/AI infrastructure opportunities.

• Establish technical partnerships with hyperscalers, system integrators, and hardware vendors.

• Empower partners to independently position and deliver Spectro Cloud solutions.

• Define service scopes and shape deal structures for achievable, repeatable delivery.

• Manage the transition to Professional Services and Technical Account Management post-deal closure.

• Collect APAC customer insights and product requests for the Product and Engineering teams.

• Contribute to regional initiatives, reference architectures, and reusable demo materials.

• Represent Spectro Cloud at regional events, cloud and AI summits, and partner forums.

• Willing to travel up to 40% within the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Field Engineer.

• More than 4 years of experience supporting enterprise software sales within the Asia Pacific region.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure, covering cluster lifecycle management, networking, storage, and security.

• Strong knowledge of at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure, including VMware, bare metal, or private cloud solutions.

• Proven success in securing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and executing effective proofs of value.

• Experience working with clients in regulated industries across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

• Knowledge of data residency and compliance requirements.

• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.

• Capability to tailor messaging for both technical and executive audiences across diverse cultures and business practices.

• Comfortable working independently in a regional office while collaborating with global teams across various time zones.

• Proficiency in English.

• Applicants must have legal eligibility to work in Singapore.

• Preferred: experience with Rancher, OpenShift, Tanzu, or Anthos.

• Preferred: experience in KubeVirt or VM migration and modernization.

• Preferred: knowledge of GPU infrastructure and AI platforms, including NVIDIA technologies.

• Preferred: experience with edge computing deployments.

• Preferred: established relationships within the Singapore and Southeast Asia partner ecosystem.

• Preferred: CKA, CKAD, CKS, or other professional-level cloud certifications.

• Preferred: proficiency in additional regional languages, such as Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Thai, or Vietnamese.

• Preferred: previous experience as an early technical hire building a new regional presence.
