Senior Solutions Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify solutions by evaluating both business and technical criteria, analyze various alternatives, and implement effective designs.

• Investigate current and emerging technologies along with process methodologies, proposing necessary changes or adaptations.

• Evaluate the current system and business process architectures, providing recommendations for enhancements.

• Ensure that technical architecture teams deliver system solutions that are both efficient and effective, aligning with business objectives.

• Create, refine, and maintain service design procedures and processes utilizing established frameworks and methodologies.

• Prepare and deliver test plans, technical presentations, and briefings for analysts.

• Identify customer needs, analyze various alternatives, and advise on software, platform, and network configurations.

• Update stakeholders regarding project costs, schedules, and quality in relation to set objectives.

• Mentor and guide less experienced professionals in their development.

• Act as a team or task leader as needed.

• Explore opportunities in Unified Communications, including E911, recording, DTENs, and upgrades for remote sites.

• Assist in the strategic planning for Avaya licensing, subscription transitions, discounts, materials, and services.

• Develop tactical timelines and FAA action plans based on OEM and sales-engineering resources.

• Conduct market research for new products, features, and services to ensure alignment with FAVES contracts.

• Support lifecycle sustainment and assess replacement costs and services for products that are no longer for sale.

• Carry out project pricing and GDIT Gate reviews on proposals, incorporating strategic and OEM pricing strategies.

• Respond to re-compete RFPs that involve technical solutions, bills of materials, pricing, labor, and services.

• Define FAVES O&M support models for third-party support concerning Avaya products like AEP and ACR.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Over 15 years of relevant experience is necessary.

• Advanced expertise in Avaya systems design and analysis, which includes the configuration and/or programming of complex infrastructure, database, and application systems.

• Capability to adapt to evolving business, client, and technical environment requirements.

• Proven ability to innovate in Avaya design and thought processes to meet business needs effectively.

• Proficiency in Voice, IP, ATM, Optical, Wireless, Multi-Media, Unified Communications, and Video technologies.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Skills in project and resource management.

• Expertise in analyst briefings, system solutions, technical architecture, and technical presentations.

• Willingness to travel between 10–25% of the time.

• Availability to work 40 scheduled hours per week.
