This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with the SLED sales team from the initial discovery phase to deal closure, aiming to reduce sales cycles and enhance closing rates.
• Lead and engage in discovery meetings with SLED clients.
• Conduct platform demonstrations and facilitate highly technical Proof of Value engagements.
• Convert public-sector business and mission challenges into technical solutions while adhering to operational, budgetary, and regulatory constraints.
• Act as a technical authority during SLED sales engagements.
• Align pre-sales and Proof of Value efforts with strategic account objectives and modernization plans.
• Collaborate with field engineering teams throughout the Proof of Value process.
• Address customer requirements through verbal, written, and presentation skills, including responses to RFPs/RFIs and participation in public-sector forums.
• Establish and nurture relationships with SLED clients, colleagues, and channel/reseller partners.
• Engage in and present at regional and national SLED marketing events and conferences.
• Provide sales and channel enablement training for SLED-focused partners, integrators, and resellers.
• Work alongside Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to enhance the SLED customer lifecycle.
• Travel to customer sites, prospects, state capitals, agency and campus locations, as well as industry events.
• Over 6 years of operational and/or sales experience in endpoint operations or security.
• More than 4 years of experience in customer-facing or support roles.
• Extensive software pre-sales or related value-based technical selling experience in large enterprise or public sector environments.
• Demonstrated success in supporting the State, Local Government, and/or Higher Education sectors.
• Experience presenting to C-Suite executives, solution users, and front-line staff.
• Knowledge of public sector procurement processes, including state contracts, GSA/cooperative purchasing vehicles, and RFP/RFI procedures.
• Familiarity with CJIS, IRS Pub 1075, HIPAA, FERPA, StateRAMP, and CIS Controls; knowledge of FedRAMP is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and achieve successful results.
• Comprehensive understanding of IT security, operations, compliance, and related products.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience in Endpoint Security, IT Operations Management, and/or Regulatory Compliance.
• A broad understanding of scripting languages is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Naturally collaborative with a mission-driven approach.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
