Senior Solution Architect – Finance & Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive Finance & Accounting service delivery solutions encompassing Source to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report processes.

• Evaluate client needs and convert them into scalable operational models.

• Formulate strategies for onshore, nearshore, offshore, and hybrid service delivery.

• Design organizational layouts, staffing frameworks, governance structures, and service management models.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation through workflow, AI, OCR, RPA, and analytics.

• Utilize benchmark data to establish productivity assumptions, staffing estimates, cost models, performance targets, and service level commitments.

• Analyze transaction volumes, handling times, complexity factors, and operational metrics.

• Create capacity models and forecasts for pricing deals and business cases.

• Lead Finance & Accounting solution responses for RFPs, RFIs, and client engagements.

• Develop solution narratives, executive summaries, staffing strategies, transition methodologies, and service delivery frameworks.

• Collaborate with pricing teams on cost models and commercial proposals.

• Engage in proposal evaluations, client presentations, solution workshops, and due diligence meetings.

• Facilitate discovery workshops and present findings to executive stakeholders.

• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.

• Create transition and implementation strategies while assessing associated risks.

• Establish governance, reporting, and continuous improvement frameworks.

• Assist in the transition from sales to implementation teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting operations, consulting, outsourcing, shared services, or business process services.

• More than 3 years of experience in designing solutions for F&A outsourcing, managed services, or shared services organizations.

• Proven experience in supporting large-scale RFP responses and competitive pursuits.

• Strong comprehension of Finance & Accounting process areas and operational models.

• Experience in developing staffing, productivity, and financial models based on benchmark data.

• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Excellent business writing and executive presentation skills.

• Preferred: Experience in BPO, shared services, consulting, or finance transformation settings.

• Preferred: Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

• Preferred: Experience with RPA, OCR, AI, and workflow platforms.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies.
