Senior Solicitor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee files from the initial instruction to the final resolution

• Uphold internal quality standards and risk management protocols

• Deliver prompt and accessible legal guidance to drivers

• Simplify complex legal jargon into clear and supportive advice

• Prepare pleadings, witness statements, letters of claim, and hearing bundles

• Negotiate recoveries for drivers and ensure fair settlements

• Collaborate with counsel and provide briefings for hearings

• Utilize case management systems to monitor deadlines and tasks

• Ensure SRA compliance across all files

• Share expertise and engage in professional development activities

• Embrace mentoring opportunities as the practice grows

• Report directly to the Practice Manager within a team of six

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a current practising certificate in England and Wales

• Experience in claimant work, including personal injury, credit hire, or recovery in motor claims

• Approximately 1 year of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE)

• Solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, pre-action protocols, and court procedures

• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage a high-volume claimant caseload and tight legal deadlines

• Strong active listening and negotiation abilities

• Practical awareness of commercial and risk factors

• Experience with Proclaim is a plus

• Knowledge of Alternative Business Structures is beneficial

• Eligibility to work in the UK; the employer cannot provide visa sponsorship
