Senior Solicitor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee files from the initial assignment through to final resolution.

• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and risk management procedures.

• Offer prompt, accessible legal advice to drivers while articulating complex legal terms in a clear manner.

• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, witness statements, letters of claim, and hearing bundles.

• Negotiate recoveries for drivers and collaborate with legal counsel for hearings.

• Utilize case-management systems to monitor deadlines, manage tasks, and ensure SRA compliance.

• Share expertise, engage in professional growth, and mentor team members as the practice evolves.

• Manage an active caseload involving personal injury, credit hire, and recoveries in small claims and fast-track cases.

• Report to the Practice Manager as part of a team of six.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a current practicing certificate in England and Wales, with experience in claimant work related to personal injury, credit hire, or recovery in motor claims.

• Approximately 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE).

• Proficient understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, pre-action protocols, and court processes.

• Demonstrated organizational skills for managing a high-volume caseload and meeting tight deadlines.

• Strong active listening abilities and composed negotiation techniques.

• Practical awareness of commercial and risk factors.

• Experience with Proclaim is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Alternative Business Structures (ABS) is a plus.

• Eligibility to work in the UK; the employer is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
