Senior Software Engineer, Vendor Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage the platform comprehensively across both backend and frontend.

• Create and sustain APIs utilized by other systems and interfaces used by operators.

• Take responsibility for vendor data mastering, matching, deduplication, reconciliation, and data quality assurance.

• Expand the platform to accommodate numerous client tenants and increasing data volumes.

• Implement asynchronous and event-driven processing methodologies.

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead on architectural decisions.

• Work together with the product team to determine priorities.

• Uphold quality standards through code reviews, testing, and a structured development process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience with real production ownership.

• Proficient in Python and modern API development.

• Frontend experience with Angular or React and TypeScript.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational data modeling.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Familiarity with multi-tenant or multi-client systems.

• Background in event-driven or message-based architectures.

• Ability to independently manage tasks from design through to production.

• Capacity to closely collaborate with product teams.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
