Senior Software Engineer – Tools & Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume ownership of tools, projects, and product components.

• Create new tools and clarify any requirements or gaps in information with stakeholders.

• Manage machines and ensure consistent service availability for components hosted on Amazon AWS.

• Uphold the stability and quality of software releases.

• Propel continuous enhancements throughout the development and infrastructure environments.

• Work in conjunction with the Labs' Tools and Automation team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Python development.

• Strong familiarity with popular Python frameworks such as Pika, Boto3, SQLAlchemy, Django, or FastAPI.

• Understanding of code quality standards, including PEP 8 and the use of linters.

• Knowledge of test-driven development practices utilizing Pytest.

• Experience with REST APIs, server applications/microservices, and client applications.

• Proficiency in Ansible, PostgreSQL, and Jenkins or Bamboo for CI/CD.

• Familiarity with various Amazon AWS components and their management.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with RabbitMQ is advantageous.

• Quick learner and a strong team collaborator.

• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
