Senior Software Engineer – Social, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Middle East.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the social growth and multi-chain user experiences of MetaMask.

• Integrate, improve, and transform user experiences across MetaMask Portfolio, Browser Extension, and Mobile platforms to facilitate social interactions.

• Collaborate and communicate with other experience teams to successfully execute complex projects.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members and help raise the engineering standards within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience with web and mobile technologies.

• Proficient hands-on experience with React and React Native.

• Extensive knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6/TypeScript/etc.).

• Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals across various blockchain architectures.

• Strong expertise in developing cross-platform/browser compatibility.

• Experience working within an agile development environment.

• Proven track record of developing medium to large-scale applications throughout the entire stack while minimizing technical debt through sensible abstractions, testing, linting, and adherence to coding/web standards.

• Experience with API consumption.

• Demonstrated understanding of Continuous Integration practices.

• Solid grasp of web-based security threats and preventive measures.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
