Senior Software Engineer, Rust / C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge, contribute to, and progressively assume responsibility for services developed in Rust.

• Engage in the modernization of current platform capabilities and architecture.

• Design and create scalable APIs and components for distributed systems.

• Assist in defining and delivering valuable, testable, and maintainable user stories.

• Produce high-quality, thoroughly tested code supported by automated unit and integration tests.

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve intricate production and performance challenges.

• Contribute to enhancements in performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Collaborate with engineers from various teams on strategic platform upgrades.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation.

• Extensive professional experience in software development using Rust.

• A keen interest in and readiness to work with C++.

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and contemporary development practices.

• Proven experience in designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.

• In-depth knowledge of design principles and patterns, including SOLID and test-driven development.

• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-native applications.

• Experience in automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end).

• Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and fundamental security principles.

• Experience with relational databases and data persistence techniques.

• Understanding of REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.

• Experience with containers and cloud platforms is advantageous.
