Senior Software Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the open-source SDK, enterprise APIs, user interfaces, and backend systems.

• Scale the enterprise solution, deployed in customers' own cloud environments and on-premises, to handle extensive vision AI datasets and process petabytes of data.

• Write maintainable, flexible, high-performance, well-tested production code.

• Contribute to tooling, automation, and best practices within the department.

• Collaborate on features that support dataset curation, model analysis, and integrations throughout the machine learning lifecycle.

• Build scalable APIs and tackle challenges associated with unstructured image and video data.

• Contribute to the open-source community and engage in enterprise-grade engineering for commercial products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience in developing maintainable and scalable systems and software architectures.

• A BS or MS in computer science or a related field.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Expertise in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DocumentDB, and Elasticsearch.

• Experience in maintaining or contributing to open-source projects (or the enthusiasm to start!).

• Ability to thrive in a remote-first, collaborative environment.

• Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
