Senior Software Engineer – Pre Service Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Develop AI-driven workflows that integrate and analyze data from various extraction sources to deliver accurate insights.

• Evaluate production data to identify and resolve accuracy issues impacting real customer challenges.

• Take ownership of features from inception to completion, including product specifications, coding, testing, observability, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

• Partner with the founder, engineering leadership, product managers, designers, and engineers to assess trade-offs and construct the product.

• Create essential features with a sense of urgency, meticulous attention to detail, and high-quality, maintainable code.

• Develop pre-service products related to insurance eligibility and benefits, prior authorizations, referrals, and patient cost estimations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing complex backend systems.

• Proficient in Python.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development, including agentic coding tools such as Claude Code.

• Strong enthusiasm for creating and delivering outstanding products.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, and Redis (preferred).

• Experience in deploying LLM-based features into production (preferred).

• Background in healthcare related to eligibility and benefits, revenue cycle, EDI/X12, clearinghouse, or EHR integrations (preferred).
