Senior Software Engineer, JAX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Contribute significantly to NVIDIA's initiatives involving JAX.

• Design and implement core components of JAX while optimizing performance on NVIDIA products.

• Collaborate with AI applied researchers and leaders to develop sustainable models for the future.

• Create tools to enhance the efficiency of teams engaged in developing AI-driven systems.

• Connect the realms of numerical computing, simulation, deep learning research, and real-world product applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 6 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and their internal workings (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to develop customer-facing solutions while balancing feature requests and addressing bugs.

• Strong technical foundation in CPU and GPU architectures, numeric libraries, and modular software design.

• Highly motivated individual with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams, including principles and architects.

• Capable of coordinating efficiently across organizational boundaries and geographic locations.

• Understanding of JAX, Autograd, tracing, code generation, and the design of DSL compilers.

• Knowledge of deep learning training in distributed environments: multi-GPU, multi-node, synchronous versus asynchronous.

• Experience with software shipping cycles (development, deployment, release, continuous integration).

• Background in building distributed systems and services at large scale.
