Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with various teams to gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Take ownership of the entire software development life cycle, from initial concept through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Identify and resolve intricate technical issues, delivering timely and effective solutions.

• Design, develop, test, and launch high-quality web applications utilizing modern technologies and best practices.

• Maintain and enhance existing web applications to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews, ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices.

• Work alongside the team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance development processes.

• Lead and mentor junior developers, supporting their technical advancement.

• Provide guidance to junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, design discussions, and hands-on assistance.

• Recommend improvements and contribute to the technical architecture and infrastructure.

• Influence technical decisions and participate in long-term planning of the technology roadmap.

• Assess and suggest tools, frameworks, and libraries based on project requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Full Stack Web Developer, with at least 5 years of experience, including 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proficient in ASP.NET WebForms (.NET Framework), ASP.NET Core Web APIs, C#, and LINQ.

• Familiarity with ORM Entity Framework (EF6) and EF Core.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.

• Experience in system design using Clean Architecture and knowledge of microservices.

• In-depth understanding and practical experience with software design patterns, including Repository, Unit of Work, and CQRS.

• Ability to implement suitable design patterns to enhance code maintainability, scalability, and testability.

• Capability to design caching architectures for high-traffic applications such as Redis.

• Experience with Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway, API Gateway architecture, or similar solutions (preferred).

• Background in designing and implementing message-based systems such as RabbitMQ (preferred).

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Ajax.

• Proficient in React JS; Next JS experience is an advantage.

• Experience with Telerik UI controls for ASP.NET WebForms (preferred).

• Experience in background job processing and scheduling using Hangfire.

• Strong understanding of asynchronous processing, retries, and failure management.

• Familiarity with cloud services and deployments; Azure is preferred, with AWS and Google Cloud knowledge being a plus.

• Experience with DevOps systems, preferably Azure DevOps, and managing CI/CD pipelines including automated builds, tests, and deployments.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git; TFVC is an advantage.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as .NET xUnit, Cypress, Selenium, and SonarQube.

• Strong documentation skills and the ability to produce clean, commented code.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-204/AZ-104, AZ-302, AZ-305, or AZ-400 are advantageous.

• Courses or certifications in the mentioned technologies are a plus.
