Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of product features from research and refining requirements to UI design, implementation, launch, and ongoing monitoring.

• Develop backend services and APIs utilizing TypeScript and Node.js.

• Create frontend features using React.

• Construct AWS infrastructure as code.

• Incorporate LLMs, models, and tools into the product.

• Develop evaluations while balancing quality, latency, and cost.

• Integrate SIP telephony, call routing, EHR systems, LLM providers, and various external services.

• Influence technical and architectural decisions and assess technical proposals.

• Maintain a flexible, manageable platform that efficiently handles real-time calls.

• Guide engineers through design and code reviews, pairing, and agent workflow guidance.

• Prototype and evaluate solutions for unresolved technical questions.

• Monitor production, minimize alert noise, and address performance bottlenecks.

• Coordinate coding agents for implementation, reviews, investigations, and research.

• Enhance the structure of the codebase, agent instructions, feedback loops, reusable skills, commands, and workflows.

• Educate the team on effective agent workflows and identify scenarios where agent output may be unreliable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven end-to-end ownership of a product or significant features delivered in production.

• Strong architectural expertise with the ability to articulate technical trade-offs.

• Hands-on experience with fullstack TypeScript.

• Proficiency in Node.js for backend development.

• Experience in React for frontend development.

• Familiarity with MongoDB or another database technology.

• Practical experience with AWS or another leading cloud provider.

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code; experience with Terraform and Pulumi is preferred.

• AI-native development experience, leveraging coding agents as the primary method of operation.

• Production experience in building LLM-powered features with evaluations.

• Capability to make informed decisions regarding latency and cost trade-offs.

• Understanding of software development practices under SOC2 and HIPAA compliance.

• Ability to propose user interactions and design intuitive UIs without needing detailed mockups.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or above.

• Nice to have: experience in SIP, call routing, or VoIP.

• Nice to have: experience integrating clinical systems or other regulated domains.
