Senior Software Engineer, Integrations, Internal Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Maintain and improve back-office integrations linking NetSuite, HighJump, the data warehouse, and related systems.

• Reconstruct individual integration flows onto superior infrastructure when suitable.

• Streamline and unify the integration landscape.

• Develop the Grove Brain/MCP layer into a robust platform for other teams.

• Design and implement connectors and tools that empower agents to interact with Grove systems.

• Assist in defining and constructing agent authentication, access control, and auditing mechanisms.

• Provide teams with technical support related to integration and agents.

• Determine whether system issues should be addressed through technical solutions or as business process challenges.

• Utilize AI tools for faster development while ensuring quality is upheld.

• Take ownership of the performance, stability, and maintainability of deployed code.

• Engage in a take-home project followed by a working review session.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining production system integrations with platforms such as NetSuite, HighJump, or other ERP/WMS systems.

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including pipeline design and debugging skills.

• Practical experience with AI tools; familiarity with agent frameworks or MCP is highly desirable.

• Experience with Airflow, Airbyte, or comparable data-pipeline frameworks.

• Capability to work with general guidance rather than a fully detailed specification.

• A builder’s mindset with the ability to implement solutions directly.

• Awareness of security concerning agent access and permissions.

• Proven ability to quickly become productive in new frameworks, languages, or platforms.

• Skill in transforming vague concepts into tangible outcomes and delivering them effectively.

• Proficiency in giving and receiving constructive feedback.

• Ability to clearly document technical ideas for non-technical audiences.

• Genuine passion for Grove’s mission and commitment to sustainability values.
