📋 Description

• Take charge of designing, constructing, and scaling backend services that handle settlements and transfers across fiat, cryptocurrency, and internal ledger systems.

• Enhance code quality and maintainability through thorough code reviews, refactoring, and active involvement at every stage of the development lifecycle.

• Spearhead performance and scalability enhancements for essential financial infrastructure, including diagnosing, triaging, and resolving production challenges.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, and cross-functional teams to convert product vision into quarterly technical roadmaps and actionable deliverables.

• Suggest and implement architectural advancements that boost team velocity, minimize technical debt, and bolster system reliability.

• Guide junior and mid-level engineers in technical best practices and career development, elevating the overall standards of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend software engineering, including the design, development, and maintenance of production services at scale.

• Hands-on experience with Go (or a comparable backend language), relational databases (such as Postgres), and message-driven architectures (like Kafka).

• Proven capability to take ownership of system design decisions, lead technical proposals, and achieve consensus within a team of engineers.

• History of identifying and addressing quality, performance, and scalability challenges in distributed systems.

• Experience in mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of high code quality through detailed reviews, testing, and documentation.

• Employs generative AI responsibly, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready results and facilitate measurable enhancements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
