Senior Software Engineer II – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design and create mobile frameworks and features for Smartsheet's native applications on Android and iOS platforms.

• Mentor and guide team members regarding architecture and best practices in mobile development.

• Offer technical expertise, address complex challenges, and provide feedback during design and code reviews with peers.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing defining, designing, implementing, testing, and deploying features.

• Diagnose production issues and conduct root cause analysis.

• Manage key features independently while collaborating with product managers, UI designers, senior developers, and testers.

• Take ownership of intricate technical issues spanning multiple teams and lead them to resolution.

• Assist in development across Android, iOS, and Native NDK platforms.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in mobile engineering, focusing on native mobile development.

• Proven experience in developing consumer mobile applications, possessing a robust understanding of the mobile ecosystem with a customer-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in Kotlin, Swift, Java, RxJava, JUnit, and Objective-C.

• Experience in developing clean architecture and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.

• Capable of transitioning between low-level algorithms and high-level strategies.

• Familiarity with agile environments, featuring regular production releases.

• Legally authorized to work in Bulgaria on a continuous basis.

• Proficiency in English is a must.
