πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Design and develop scalable services for transaction matching, the cellar pipeline, and offer ingestion.

β€’ Take full ownership of features through Kard's Shape Up process, which includes discovery, pitch creation, implementation, testing, production rollout, and planning for launch/rollback.

β€’ Engage in on-call duties, incident response, and IOC triage; lead efforts for root-cause resolutions.

β€’ Enhance issuer/client-facing APIs and SDKs to ensure reliability, clarity, and facilitate self-service.

β€’ Make informed technical decisions and collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align with CX strategic objectives.

β€’ Advance authentication, rate limiting, deployment, observability, error handling, and overall test coverage.

β€’ Mentor fellow engineers and actively participate in design and architecture discussions.

β€’ Streamline or phase out legacy and redundant services.

β€’ Create documentation and playbooks for local development, deployment, and troubleshooting processes.

β€’ Collaborate with Support, Design, Product, and partner-facing teams throughout Kard's Shape Up-based pitch cycle.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Proficient programming abilities in Go and/or TypeScript, with a background in building scalable, secure, high-performance backend services.

β€’ Extensive experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures (SQS, Temporal), and both relational and document databases (Postgres and MongoDB).

β€’ Skilled in AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), including Kubernetes/EKS and Lambda.

β€’ Background in working on transaction-processing, matching, or ingestion pipelines where correctness and idempotency are crucial.

β€’ Proven track record of leading a technical project from discovery to production rollout, including drafting clear specifications and fostering cross-team collaboration.

β€’ Proficient in agentic software development utilizing AI tools such as Claude Code and Codex.

β€’ Availability during U.S. core business hours and readiness to travel for company meetings.
