This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Create and implement production-ready agents that analyze, reason through, and take action on live observability data within Canvas.
β’ Advance agents from initial rough drafts to full production deployment and user traffic.
β’ Define the scope, create, launch, and uphold agents along with their evaluations.
β’ Engage in full-stack development activities.
β’ Utilize Honeycombβs high-cardinality data store to develop agents capable of cross-service correlation, tracing investigations, and deployment comparisons.
β’ Enhance Canvas, the MCP server, and Canvas Skills with features such as memory, spatial awareness, and improved Bedrock-loop performance.
β’ Establish measurable and maintainable quality standards for agents and convey their limitations.
β’ Investigate projects including collaborative agents, automated SLO-burn investigations, and specialized domain skills.
β’ Proven experience in delivering LLM-based systems that are actively utilized in production environments.
β’ Understanding of agent system failure modes and strategies for designing around them.
β’ Capacity to independently transform work from a rough prototype to a production-level solution.
β’ Informed perspectives on developments in agent design over the past six to twelve months.
β’ Knowledge of agent architecture and the influence of fast, high-cardinality data stores on agent reasoning.
β’ Demonstrated product judgment through working prototypes.
β’ Background in observability or developer tools is a plus.
β’ Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tools, RAG, and prompt engineering is advantageous.
