Senior Software Engineer, Golang, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain k0s-related projects that fall under the CNCF umbrella.

• Incorporate new features from cloud-native technologies into Mirantis Kubernetes offerings.

• Monitor advancements in the container technology ecosystem and assess their effects on the product roadmap.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for cloud-native software and technologies within Mirantis and the wider community.

• Collaborate with k0s maintainers, the open-source ecosystem, and upstream initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, with a focus on deeper knowledge.

• Familiarity with Linux, virtual machines, networking, containers, and the overall cloud-native technology stack.

• Proficiency in writing clean and maintainable code in Golang.

• Strong engineering background with a notable track record on GitHub.

• A pragmatic and results-driven approach to teamwork and project execution.

• Effective communication skills in English.

• Availability to work within European time zones.
