This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Lead and sustain upstream k0s-related initiatives within the CNCF framework.

• Incorporate new functionalities from cloud-native technologies into Mirantis Kubernetes offerings.

• Monitor advancements in the container technology landscape and assess their effects on the product roadmap.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for cloud-native software and technologies within Mirantis and the wider community.

• Collaborate with k0s maintainers, the broader open-source community, and upstream projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, with a focus on depth.

• Proficiency in Linux, virtual machines, networking, containers, and the overall cloud-native technology stack.

• Capability to produce clean and maintainable code in Golang.

• Strong engineering background with a significant track record on GitHub.

• A pragmatic and results-driven approach to team and project collaboration.

• Effective communication skills in English.

• Availability within European time zones.
