Senior Software Engineer – Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance new functionalities

• Create systems that are essential to the company’s operations

• Oversee system performance and manage the rollout of system updates

• Maintain documentation for changes that have been implemented

• Build and oversee production systems, considering factors such as performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, resilience, and integration within the application ecosystem

• Detect deficiencies in the architecture and development workflow, proposing effective solutions

• Perform inspections on code and documentation

• Develop and execute automated testing

• Collaborate with the team during code reviews, emphasizing best practices and areas for potential enhancement

• Create software using Go

• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL

• Understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Ability to work collaboratively with the team during code reviews, emphasizing best practices and areas for potential enhancement

• Preferred: knowledge of public and private cloud platforms, such as OpenStack, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud

• Preferred: familiarity with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, Kafka, and IBM MQ

• Preferred: understanding of Microservices, Event Sourcing, CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture, and Lambda Architecture

• Preferred: experience in both relational and non-relational data modeling

• Preferred: knowledge of CI/CD tools and GitHub Actions

• Preferred: understanding of Elixir

• Preferred: knowledge of and interest in the financial services sector
