Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack, .NET/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and test features as a member of an agile, cross-functional development team.

• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Architects, and QA Engineers throughout the entire product feature development lifecycle.

• Share accountability for delivering product features and ensuring customer value.

• Create web and server solutions that integrate edge hardware devices into a situationally aware platform.

• Address challenges related to geospatial smart city data, geospatial tracking information, video feed snapshots, near real-time event processing, video overlay integration, access control management, and distributed site infrastructure management.

• Implement .NET Core 6+ C# solutions and incorporate functional library frameworks within AWS Kubernetes-hosted microservices.

• Develop ReactJS micro-frontends utilizing ES6+ TypeScript, LESS, and NPM libraries.

• Maintain continuous integration with GitLab, encompassing unit testing, Selenium-based GUI testing, and static analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 5-6 years’ experience as a professional software engineer (in both commercial and open-source environments).

• Proficient with Microsoft .Net Core 6+.

• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML5 / CSS3) and familiarity with a leading JavaScript framework, preferably ReactJS.

• Experience with microservices that interact within clusters using Restful APIs (e.g., OpenAPI).

• Proficient in using Containers (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Diverse experience in software development and delivery.

• Eager to take ownership of feature work and engage deeply throughout the feature lifecycle.

• Experience working with large codebases or enterprise-grade software.

• Strong background in API design.

• Familiarity with Micro-Frontends.

• Experience in hardware integration and API usage.

• Knowledge of NOSQL databases (MongoDB).

• Experience with event streaming technologies (Kafka).

• Familiarity with concurrent distributed systems.

• Interest or experience in near real-time computing and communication.

• Understanding of DevOps practices.
