Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack – Member Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver full-stack features from start to finish across member-facing web applications.

• Primarily utilize TypeScript throughout the technology stack.

• Utilize GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines to deploy web applications on Vercel, maintaining ownership of changes from pull request to production.

• Create scalable systems while making architectural decisions that balance performance, maintainability, and speed of delivery.

• Enhance member experiences with AI by integrating LLM APIs and leveraging agent harnesses and frameworks like Eve and Strands.

• Produce clean, well-tested, production-quality code.

• Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholders to convert requirements into software solutions.

• Contribute to engineering best practices through code reviews, technical discussions, and establishing better defaults.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience with complete ownership of production systems.

• In-depth expertise in TypeScript, with strong experience in React and Next.js for building modern, responsive web applications.

• Familiarity with platforms like Vercel and CI/CD workflows such as GitHub Actions.

• Regular and proficient use of AI tools (like Claude, Cursor, etc.) as part of your daily operations.

• Experience in building with LLMs — including API integrations, agentic workflows, or frameworks/harnesses such as Eve or Strands — or a strong motivation to achieve this proficiency quickly.

• Strong foundational skills in system design, testing, debugging, and code reviews.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Must reside in California, Oregon, or Washington.
