Senior Software Engineer, Frontend – Platform, Identity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of user-facing features related to login, signup, OAuth, account security, and multi-factor authentication.

• Oversee end-to-end frontend projects from the design phase through to implementation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.

• Facilitate functionality for multiple users and organizations.

• Create and review technical design documentation.

• Deconstruct complex, ambiguous initiatives into actionable plans for the team.

• Lead the strategy for Native vs. Webview architecture concerning authentication interfaces.

• Assess trade-offs between latency, reliability, and user experience.

• Actively identify and address technical debt and code quality concerns throughout the codebase.

• Manage on-call duties, conduct code reviews, and oversee incident response processes.

• Provide mentorship to L04 engineers regarding frontend expertise and ownership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in production frontend engineering using React and TypeScript.

• Proven track record of independently managing the end-to-end delivery of complex and ambiguous projects.

• Experience in authoring and driving technical design documents through cross-functional reviews and implementations on at least 2-3 significant initiatives.

• Capability to identify and mitigate systemic technical debt within a team’s codebase, leading to measurable enhancements in reliability or developer velocity.

• Background in mentoring engineers.

• Experience in leading team rituals, such as on-call rotations, code review practices, and incident response strategies.

• Proficient in the responsible use of generative AI, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and achieve measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
