Senior Software Engineer – Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop intricate workflows encompassing dashboards, traces, logs, metrics, alerts, and infrastructure monitoring.

• Take full ownership of significant frontend features and systems from start to finish.

• Simplify complex observability concepts into user-friendly and intuitive experiences.

• Optimize architecture for performance using strategies such as virtualization, progressive loading, smart caching, and selective rendering.

• Analyze and enhance slow interactions, large visualizations, and data-intensive views.

• Contribute to our frontend architecture, design system, and engineering best practices.

• Collaborate closely with design, product teams, founders, and backend engineers.

• Engage with users to implement improvements that assist engineers in resolving incidents more efficiently.

• Support fellow engineers in making informed frontend and product decisions.

• You possess extensive experience in developing production applications using React and TypeScript.

• You think in systems and user journeys rather than just isolated screens.

• You have a background in complex, data-rich, or highly interactive applications.

• You comprehend React rendering behavior and can identify performance bottlenecks.

• You are adept at utilizing browser profiling and debugging tools.

• You demonstrate ownership and can progress work without extensive guidance.

• You communicate effectively and collaborate well within engineering, design, and product teams.

• Familiarity with observability is advantageous but not mandatory.
